Congratulations to Junlong Wang, Kang Zhao, and Chen Chen for their successful thesis defense

On May 14, 2018, METAL laboratory held the class of 15 graduate thesis defense. Junlong Wang, Kang Zhao and Chen Chen, three graduates successfully completed the defense. The professors who attended the defense were: Prof. Junrui Liang from SIST, Prof. Haoyu Wang from SIST, Prof. Hu Tao from SIMIT, Prof. Weiming Wu from Shanghai Maritime University.

 

Mr. Kang Zhao's graduation thesis revolves around the "Bias-flip based piezoelectric energy harvesting interface circuit" and studies the principle and realization of synchronized multiple bias flip circuits. After graduate, he will join Shanghai United Imaging Healthcare Co., Ltd.to engage in embedded software development.

 

Mr. Junlong Wang's graduation thesis revolves around the "System Design of Power backpack and Human Dynamics" and make a research on kinetic energy harvesting and biomechanical analysis. After graduate, he will join the ekontrol Drive Co., Ltd., engage in control and simulation of vehicle ECU.

 

Mr. Chen Chen's graduation thesis was titled "Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting Interface Circuits based on Synchronized Charge Extraction and Injection". A Bidirectional Buck-Boost interface circuit topology was designed to achieve multiple small-step energy extractions and small-step energy injections. After graduating from master's degree, he will join Texas Instruments to work on verification of digital integrated circuits.

 

2018年5月14日,METAL实验室举行15级毕业生论文答辩,王俊龙、赵康、陈晨,3名毕业生顺利完成答辩。参加此次答辩会的老师有: 上海科技大学 梁俊睿教授、 上海科技大学 王浩宇教授、 中科院微系统与信息技术研究所 陶虎教授、 上海海事大学 吴卫民教授。

 

赵康的毕业论文围绕“基于偏置翻转的压电能量收集电路”,针对同步多次偏置翻转电路的原理与模型进行研究。硕士毕业后,他将加入上海联影医疗科技有限公司,从事嵌入式软件开发。 王俊龙的毕业论文围绕“动能收集背包的系统设计与人体动力学分析”,针对人体动能收集与生物力学分析进行研究。硕士毕业后,他将加入凯博易控驱动技术有限公司,从事汽车ECU的控制与仿真。 陈晨的毕业论文题目是“基于同步电荷注入提取的压电能量收集接口电路研究”,设计了双向Buck-boost型接口电路拓扑,可实现小步多次的能量提取和能量注入。硕士毕业后,他将加入德州仪器,从事数字集成电路验证方向工作。
